howdy friends, my name is Avery. i’m the owner and the artist behind the outskirts. my desire was to create a brand that united everyone, cowboys and non-cowboys alike, with products inspired by the values of the west, like faith, integrity, and honor. the name for my business was inspired by Zach Bryan’s song “the outskirts” and my slogan was inspired by toby Keith’s “should’ve been a cowboy”

truth is, I think art can unite us all. whether we are longtime cowboys, or just wishing we could’ve been cowboys living on the outskirts of town. anything is possible with a dream in our eye and a prayer in our heart.
